About the association

A statewide association that business owners can put on their letterhead.

GARA 2.0 is a complete rebuild of the public platform — association-first, AI-assisted, and human-governed. We represent location license holders and master license holders who operate coin-operated amusement machines in Georgia.

Who we are

The Georgia Amusement Retail Association is the membership body for the people who host and operate amusement machines in convenience stores, truck stops, game rooms, restaurants, and related retail floors.

Who we are not

GARA is not the Georgia Lottery Corporation. We are not a state agency. We do not issue, deny, or transfer licenses. We do not collect tax for the State. We do not speak as government.

How we work

Advocacy, compliance education, intelligence, and community. Central Intelligence will assist staff — it will not replace them, and it will not invent legal answers to look complete.

Why the rebuild

The prior public site did not match the seriousness of a statewide industry. GARA 2.0 is the front door operators, counsel, legislators, and reporters should be able to trust: crawlable pages, a published dues schedule, a clear disclaimer, and no casino theatrics.
